After being nominated as the Top Agent within three months of the job, I realised that I genuinely love real estate. I then went on to buy my first real estate franchise two years later, and I’ve never looked back since.

Ooooh, it’s the month of love! While it provides the perfect excuse to eat massive amounts of heart-shaped chocolates and wear pink without the guilt, for me, it’s more than celebrating a relationship status. It’s a time of appreciation for God, my family, friends, staff, and my work.

While I can’t say running a property group doesn’t have its set of challenges, I find it fulfilling. And as with most successful relationships – they don’t work unless you do. To be successful in this industry you need dedication, perseverance and tenacity. I’m blessed to have a partner, Thulasizwe Mthwa, who is not only my husband but the COO of Idwala Property Group, as well as a fantastic team which is skilled at their work. These individuals help me live out my purpose, and I'm grateful.
